Salt (to taste)
Butter (half a stick)
Allspice (to taste)

Instructions
Cut off both ends of the butternut squash and focus on the middle piece of the gourd. Then, spoon out the seeds.
Cut about 2 ½ to 3 inches wide pieces.
Place the butternut squash pumpkin in a baking dish and drizzle with olive oil, salt.
Now place the squash on an air fryer rack. Cook at 400 °F for 30 minutes or until soft and browned.
While your squash steaks are cooking, you can get started making the butter mixture. Melt butter in a microwave for 40 seconds. Then, Pour in cinnamon, salt, allspice, Sucrin gold brown sugar alternative to the melted butter and mix well (you can also use regular brown sugar here if you need to).
When your squash is done, turn off the air fryer and leave them on the rack for 5 minutes.
Now, Cut off the edges and turn the squash into squares.
Now slice the squash into even pieces and arrange them on your serving dish.
Pour the butter spice mixture over the butternut squash slices and serve!
Tips
If you don't want to use the Sucrin gold brown sugar alternative, feel free to replace it with regular brown sugar.
You can also melt the butter in a thick-walled saucepan or skillet: put the butter in an existing bowl and put on low heat, melt the butter, and remove from heat.
Serve as a side dish with your favorite dinner or as an independent dish for a low-calorie meal.
When serving, you can also sprinkle chopped nuts and finely chopped sage or thyme.
Delicious, fast, and hassle-free, butternut squash in the air fryer is a favorite of mine. The finished product melts in your mouth and is a delicious treat in the midst of autumn weather.
